How I Can Help

At Rooted Connections Therapy, my practice is grounded in a humanistic and trauma-informed approach that centers connection, compassion, and respect for your unique story. I work with adults navigating a range of life experiences, and I believe you are the expert in your own life. You're capable of healing and growth—even if right now you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward.

Many of the people I work with are processing trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, or major life transitions that have disrupted their sense of self. Therapy can be a space to pause, reconnect, and move toward meaningful change.

The name Rooted Connections reflects what I hope therapy can offer: a space where you feel grounded in who you are, supported enough to grow, and more connected—to yourself, to others, and to the world around you. It also reflects how I view healing: as something that happens when we feel rooted in our identity and supported in connection—when we have the space to grow, adapt, and fully engage in life.

Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back using evidence-based therapies like EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy), all within a warm, collaborative space where healing can take root.

I became a counselor because I am passionate about helping people move through life’s challenges and thrive in day-to-day life. Finding your rhythm in each season of life can be challenging. We are constantly hearing questions like, “What’s new with you? What are you doing with your life? Are you dating anyone? When are you getting married? When are you having children? What’s next for you?… And right when you feel like you’ve gotten your feet planted under you, life often brings something unexpected your way. We all desire to live a happy and fulfilling life, but we also experience pain, loss, loneliness, self-doubt, and unmet expectations along the way. My hope is to provide space and support to help you move through life’s challenges, find your voice, and become a healthier version of yourself.
