FAQs
Do you accept insurance?
I do not bill insurance directly. However, I’m happy to provide a superbill—a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement. It’s a good idea to check with your provider to see what your plan covers.
What are your session fees?
● Initial intake session (60 minutes): $165
● Ongoing sessions (60 minutes): $150 This rate applies to in-office, telehealth, and walk and talk sessions. Payment is due at the time of service.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept credit and debit cards, including HSA and FSA cards. Payment is processed securely at the end of each session.
How long are sessions?
All sessions, including the intake, are 60 minutes.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to the full session fee.
Where are you located?
My office is located in Greenville, SC. I’ll provide the exact address and directions after your consultation.
What is walk and talk therapy, and how does it work?
Walk and talk therapy takes place outdoors in local parks or trails in Greenville. We’ll walk at a comfortable pace while engaging in the same kind of therapeutic conversation you’d have in the office. Before starting, we’ll talk through comfort, privacy, and whether it’s a good fit for your goals.
Is telehealth available?
Yes. I offer virtual therapy sessions via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform for clients anywhere in South Carolina. This is a flexible option if you prefer the convenience of meeting from your own space.
What concerns do you specialize in?
I support adults navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, identity work, and faith or spiritual exploration. You can read more about these on the [Specialties page].
Will my background, beliefs, or identity be respected in therapy?
Absolutely. I work with people from a wide range of cultural, spiritual, and personal backgrounds, and I strive to create a space where your values and identity are respected and supported. Whether you're navigating questions about relationships, faith, identity, or life transitions, my role is to listen with openness, not judgment, and to walk alongside you at your pace.
